German DAX, week of January 12th; Lanxess, ThyssenKrupp, HeidelbergCement

The year 2013 is over and what a performance. The DAX could increase by 1860.85 points or 24.45%. Of course we can always hear that is due to the low interest rates of the central banks. That is certainly somewhat true because bonds right know achieve a terrible interest for the benefit of States and investors looking for alternatives. The economy is doing well in Germany and profit  of the blue chips in Germany is great. Investors do what they do best: they invest.

We did not published anything last weekend. How did our stocks performed last two weeks?

Lanxess, the chart starved. He lost his breath and lost 2.63% since January 2nd. On January 9th we got a  clear sell signal. The DAX gained during the same time 0.78%. It was certainly not a good investment.

ThyssenKrupp, having major trouble to sort out their America investment and it looks like investors honor the activity to go out of this particular business. The stock increased this year by 2.95% compare with 0.78% for the DAX. The strength indicator, ADX, is still above 30, was stronger in the past but goes to the side right know. The stock is currently running at the lower line of his positive trend channel. There is a lot of room for improvement as discussed two weeks ago.

New in our system is HeidelbergCement. All indicators showing a buying phase. Nevertheless the volume indicator could be better. We are bullish and have a target of 58 Euros.

But as always: Just my 5 Cents

Happy New Year to all of you.
