An exiting week was the last one. Netflix, Google and Amazon created a good stock market climate. Everything is in green. Investors got into a buying mood and a lot of money went into the market. For 8 weeks is the PVI of the DAX above the signal line. Goerke's BMI indicator suggest the markets are in good conditions since middle of September......
As discussed last week the DAX went along at his upper line of his trend channel. Nothing out of the norm. He achieved another 1.36% increase and the RSI is now in the overbought area. We expect a short correction, nothing major.
Allianz was able as discussed last week to cross the resistance line. 0.24% is nothing compare to the DAX. The chart is ready for a correction, could not keep in the overbought area.
Bayer achieved an increase of 0.79%. A slow increase compare to the DAX but all indicators suggest the increase will continue. Even ADX is meanwhile increasing, the trend strength is getting stronger.
Beiersdorf confirmed our thoughts of last week: -0.13%. The trend was not strong enough. The chart was able to pass the resistance line for a few days but was falling back to the line at the end of the week. MACD looks like he wants to shut the current upside cycle. We will see but it was good not to invest.
We also spoke last weekend about Dt. Post. As discussed the paper did do a correction, went down in price, direction of the lower trend line, turned around, created a buy signal on Tuesday and finished the week with whopping 4.25% increase. As we said the story is still intact and the reduction was a great opportunity to invest again. All indicators are looking good. It is quite interesting what people can buy, order over the Internet. Someone has to deliver all the boxes. Amazon will not be able to have everywhere their Amazon Food vans....
Overall looking at the German blue ships things are looking good. But we get the impression a lot of them are ready for correction. It will be slower next week. We will see.
But as always: just my 5 cents......
PS.: On Monday 28/10 the German Newspaper Manager Magazin Online wrote an article about Dt. Post. According to the article Dt. Post delivered in 2002 3 billion boxes. This year they expect 23 billion boxes and in 2020 88 billion.
Dt. Post also set up this year long distance bus services in Germany like Greyhound in USA. In the past that was forbidden by an old law to protect the German railway. As we said the story is intact: buy. If Dt.Post cannot make profit, who can?
