That was certainly an interesting week last week. The "Big Chiefs" played war, the stock markets went out of control and the DAX got finally his correction like the American indices got through August. The DOW decreased by 4.45% points and the DAX by finally by 2,09% points in August. For a long time the DAX was fighting against a development like in US. But the war drums were to strong. For those of us who are in cash right now it is a good opportunity to invest again.
We are late with our thoughts of the week. But our general view of the German stock market is still the same. Today, on Monday, every paper was in green, the correction of the correction was done. Even E.ON increased. Maybe one reason is the Americans flip today the burgers on the grill in the back yard and not the stock.
Our focus is still on Dt. Post and Lanxess. The charts are looking good. The trend of Lanxess is still not very strong and the value will increase slowly. Dt. Post development is similar to FedEx and these kind of business is doing well thanks to the Internet.
One of the few companies who fulfill our basic three indicators for a buy is Commerzbank but we stressed in the past that is due to a rumor on not because the bank performs well.
We are still waiting for a surprising development of E.ON. According to the famous German Newspaper Handelsblatt the stock has a possibility to go to the North. It is true, the chart developed a triangle and will make a decision round about September 19th were to go. We would be not surprised if the stock will finally break the resistance by 12.06 Euros, and go to the South.
