Another week where the DAX not really know what to do. Since July 24th the index goes basically nowhere. A day up, another day down but in the end, at least on a weekly comparison, not a good development. Maybe it is really time to go short as discussed two weeks ago.
But how did the different charts perform? How did Volkswagen and HeidelbergerCement perform last week? Both were able to continue to increase their values. Volkswagen by 0.27% and HeidelbergerCement by 1.11% compared with a DAX performance of -1.01%. Both companies did not developed any sell signal during the last week and we will continue to hold our investment.
In case of Muenchner Rueckversicherung we did not foresee the bad earning results. We will see how fast the chart can recover his performance.
For a new investment I really do not see any chances. Let us see how the next days will perform and we might publish again during the week if a promising chart will come up.
But as always: just my 5 cents.
