Over a week ago I published my thoughts, my 5 cents about the German companies Daimler and Volkswagen.
It looks like my impression about the title Daimler was right. The value of the stock increased to 41.9 Euros today. The chart crossed the 200 days line easily and continue to increase during the last days. As always the famous question will come up: and...where to go? Looking to the indicators I am confident we will see for some more days an increase. The ADX is meanwhile by 39 compare with 30 when I wrote last time about the company. The trend got stronger. The RSI indicator comes slowly in the overbought area but I am sure we are good for some more days.
It looks like my comments for Volkswagen were not so good. The chart dipped only short and continued to growth. I am quite impressed about the performance. But again the question is where will the chart go? The indicators show the trend decreases but is still an ADX of 27 which is still not bad. I know professionals like Perry Kaufman suggest to have at least 30 but i think 27 is still OK. On the other hand the stock did not pass during the last months the value of 146 Euros and today we see 148.57 Euros. Interesting, isn't it?
Daimler on the other hand is still not at the level where they were a few months ago. I do not foresee any reason why the Company should not get back into the area of 48 Euros.
My favorite stock in the German DAX is currently Metro. For a few days the value is increasing, the ADX is getting stronger, MACD is strong and more important the volume is still "normal". Is it possible the title found the bottom and we see a turn around? Future will tell..
